A few months after the start of SOUNDTRACK Records’ activities, we ask Massimo Pontoriero to tell us about the birth of this new adventure in independent discography.<\/span><\/p>

Why did you want to create a new label?
<\/strong>During the pandemic, for my personal projects, I followed some international webinars on digital promotion, the music market and the evolution of independent music production, But I realized that I was ending up like so many artists to take care of too many, too many things. And I had enlightenment. <\/span>It\u2019s a complicated world, and I would like the Artists not to waste their time in bureaucracy, neglecting their true nature: making Music, making Art. That\u2019s why I created SOUNDTRACK Records, to give independent artists administrative, legal, organizational and marketing support, while ensuring fairness and transparency. <\/span>Our idea is to support projects of truth: if an artist proposes sincere works, whatever the genre, we are interested.<\/span><\/p>

How did you start the partnership with Tony Carnevale?
<\/strong>The one with Tony Carnevale was an ideal meeting:<\/span><\/p>

-First of all, with his music. Besides being “True” and having a crazy quality, it is the closest I could find to my passions: the roots Symphonic, Rock and especially Progressive music, which we both understand as a vision open to all influences and evolution. <\/span><\/p>

– Then, I found a person: scrupulous, honest and deeply dedicated to the artistic mission. With Tony I share the attention to detail, from philosophical to managerial, through every productive finishing. Let\u2019s be clear, starting our collaboration was not easy: we are rock, very rock, TOO ROCK! <\/span>This required both of us to make a personal investment of almost two years, a strenuous but rewarding commitment that has enriched me enormously.<\/p>

– Finally, there is the philosophy that unites us, a vision that embraces an absolute yet popular commitment and an aspiration directed toward expressive essence rather than form as an end in itself.<\/span><\/p>

What can you tell us about Tony\u2019s new project, “Tu Che Mi Puoi Capire”?
<\/strong>What I just said, is in the spirit of Tony\u2019s new work, which in my opinion sublimates the story of the Artist. As in a space-time portal, inside “You Who Can Understand Me”, he gathers and encloses behind himself all his roots, to open himself to a new future… <\/span><\/p>

Putting this album on the turntable, opens a magic box: the variety of themes, whose refined root is deeply embedded in the history of the great Italian melody. The ability to grasp the heart, the expressive essence that comes into contact with the imagination of the Artist, in resonance with that of each listener. <\/span><\/p>

Then, of course, there is the richness of arrangements, a flowering of ideas that recall each other, drawing from the roots of the secular symphonic tradition without ever falling into a complexity end itself, but which makes the listener listen to the record again and again. <\/span><\/p>

Tu Che Mi Puoi Capire is a soundtrack of the inner images that constitute the representation of the experiences that each of us has experienced and that thanks to these notes can retry, every time.<\/span><\/p>

It is a work necessarily solo, had to be so, in order to prepare for new encounters.<\/span><\/p>

First of all the meeting with his faithful listeners, those who, like me, can understand.<\/span><\/p>

<\/strong><\/span>Tu Che Mi Puoi Capire is available in stores thanks to the distribution of our partners Ducale Music for Italy and Pick Up Records for abroad.<\/span><\/p>
